Anastasio Medina of Austin Injured, DTD Friday, June 11th , 2032 Reports out of Austin indicate that Anastasio Medina, the gifted third baseman, might be sidelined for one week or so with a bruised wrist. The 21-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Muckdogs-BigStars game while running the bases. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Anastasio feels later today. If he can play, he will." Medina is presently hitting at a .324 pace with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 55 games and scored 27 times. |
