Hernández Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, June 9th , 2032 The hot bat of Meatballs right fielder Félix Hernández continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 8-3 loss to the Caribou at The Bugaboo Lodge. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Félix Hernández flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Currently Hernández is hitting .287 and has collected 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 36 times, while playing in 54 games. |
