Martin Injured, Day-to-Day Thursday, May 6th , 2032 The Saint Louis Martins said it will be up to shortstop Austin Martin whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Stratford Cosmos and could be missing a few games. Martin was hurt while colliding with a player at a base and sustained back tightness. Team doctors told him it could up to 2 weeks before he heals completely. In 27 games this year Martin has posted a .269 average and put up these numbers: 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
