The Stratford Cosmos topped the Vancouver Lynx by the score of 8-3, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Bob Letson. Letson was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Cosmos. Stratford is now 95-60, while Vancouver is 61-94.

Stratford used the timely hitting of Morgan Legh to capture the win. The center fielder socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Cosmos ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Letson told the Stratford Herald.
