Goldeyes Sneak Past Cyclones, 5-4
Winnipeg designated hitter Al Hammond helped his team beat the Oklahoma City Cyclones, 5-4. Hammond, who is tied for 6th in the AL in RBI with 101, went 2 for 4 for the Goldeyes. The win was credited to Éric Curran in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Ryan Woods took the loss. Eric Davis was called on to finish, recording his 21st save.

Winnipeg used a clutch hit from António García to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Goldeyes ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

"We take it day by day here," said García, "and today was a good one for us."

Winnipeg is now 67-75, Oklahoma City 67-75.
