The Puerto Rico Tropics topped the Death Valley Buzzards, 8-3, in Anderson League action at Roberto Clemente Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Puerto Rico center fielder Joe Sullivan. With the win, Puerto Rico raised its record to 81-59.

Puerto Rico took a 4-3 lead on Josh Parkinson's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Death Valley pitcher Pedro Costa in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Sullivan, "and then get after it again."
