The McCleary Sasquatch stopped the Puerto Rico Tropics, 7-4, at Einert's Field. The Sasquatch got a big game from Millard Rood, who was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winner in relief was Darryl Andrews. He is now 4-3. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. With the victory, the Sasquatch upped their record to 76-63.

Allen Campbell went 1-2 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs for McCleary. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jin-young Park. It was his 57th RBI of the season.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Rood. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
