The home crowd had a good time watching the Puerto Rico Tropics and Winnipeg Goldeyes get after it.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes topped the Puerto Rico Tropics by a score of 8-3. Leading the way was third baseman Dale Stevenson. Stevenson was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Goldeyes. Seung-won Kang notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.

The Goldeyes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Chris Adams. For the game, Adams was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Winnipeg a 3-2 lead.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Adams told the Winnipeg Gazette. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
