The Pacifica Pantalones beat the St. Paul Saints, 2-1. Pacifica pitcher and San Miguelito, Panama, native Manuel Martínez led the way. The win belongs to Pedro Pérez in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Fernando García took the loss for St. Paul. St. Paul has now lost 7 straight.
Pacifica used the timely hitting of Armando Ramírez to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pantalones on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
