Austin picked up a win at Rough Rider Stadium, bumping off the D.C. Teddys, 8-5. Pitcher Rick Snow was a major reason the BigStars emerged victorious. Masaki Ogawa closed the door for Austin, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The victory gives the BigStars a record of 32-14.

Austin used a clutch hit from Ira Howell to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the BigStars ahead, 8-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There's no quit in this team," said BigStars manager Chipper Jones.
