Dominant Performance by Lowry in Cumberland Win
|
Starting pitcher Steve Lowry was a major factor in the 2-0 Cumberland Copperheads triumph over the Cleveland Spiders. Roger Taylor closed the door for Cumberland, picking up his 13th save of the year. With the win, Cumberland upped its record to 26-16.
In his 99-pitch effort, Lowry allowed no runs on 7 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 8.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Lowry.
