With first baseman Yun-ho Son leading the charge, the Omaha Bandits defeated the Shelbyville Reds, 9-2, at Pete Rose Field. Son, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2025 draft, went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Greg Straley picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Trey Schurman was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Omaha at 21-20 for the season.

Omaha relied on the bat of Pablo Martínez to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bandits ahead, 2-0. For the game, Martínez had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
