Omaha starter Josuke Kiyomizu pitched well against the Austin BigStars at iField @ Berkshire Hathaway Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. Kiyomizu, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. With this game in the books, Omaha is 19-19, Austin 28-10.

The BigStars had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Bandits going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old right fielder Keanu Aolani came to the plate. Aolani hit a solo home run on a first pitch forkball from Austin hurler Rick Cederberg. It was Aolani's 1st home run of the year.

Aolani told a Omaha Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
