The Death Valley Buzzards picked up a win at Pokey Reddick Park, taking down the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 8-4. Starting pitcher Ramón Ríos was a big reason why. Death Valley has now reeled off 11 straight wins.

The Buzzards got a big at-bat from right fielder José Álvarez. For the game, Álvarez was 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Death Valley a 2-0 lead.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Death Valley skipper Brennan Baker.
