A good performance from left fielder Bob Letson helped the Stratford Cosmos defeat the Saint Louis Martins, 8-4. Letson was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Cosmos. Juan Velázquez got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Sean Biddle nailed down his 2nd save.

Stratford grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ray Bloemheuvel delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 5-4 in favor of the Cosmos.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Bloemheuvel said.

The Martins drop to 15-15 and continue their mediocre start to the 2032 season.
