Saint Louis Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
The Stratford Cosmos picked up a win at The Lockar Room, knocking off the Saint Louis Martins, 3-0. Starting pitcher Raimondo Amberezzio played a key role in the triumph. Chris Sharp recorded the save, his 6th. Stratford is off to a hot start at 20-9.

Ray Bloemheuvel, who is tied for 10th in the NL with a .407 on-base percentage, came through for Stratford with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
