Raúl Salazar left his imprint on the 6-5 Death Valley win against the Border City Buck$. Salazar, who finished 4th in the AL in hits with 204 in 2029, was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Miguel Muñóz finished the game for Death Valley and earned his 1st save. Death Valley, now 3-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the seventh when Salazar, who finished 3rd in the AL in hits with 203 in 2028, hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Buzzards into the lead, 6-5.
