Brooklyn right fielder Alejandro Robles had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Austin at Jackie Robinson Park. Robles went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win puts Austin at 2-0.

Austin used a clutch hit from Vincente Soto to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the BigStars ahead, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Soto told a Austin Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
