The Austin BigStars took Napoleon pitcher Júlio Álvarez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Googleplex. The final score had Austin getting past the Dynamites, 3-2. Álvarez went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. Napoleon has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Dong-hoon Hwang drove in one run for Austin. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Daniel Martínez. It was his 69th RBI of the season.

"I was a little disappointed," said Napoleon manager Josh Beckett. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
