Sasquatch Reel Off Another Win
|
The McCleary Sasquatch beat the Saint Louis Martins, 8-2, at Einert's Field. McCleary center fielder Nakazo Goto had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The wins continue to add up for McCleary, with the latest making it 9 in a row.
Mitsuharu Suzuki hit a run-scoring double off Alfredo Guzmán in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Sasquatch in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Suzuki had 1 single and 2 walks, while going 2 for 3.
