Bugaboo Creek Caribou starter Thierry Carvalho turned in a top-notch performance against the Puerto Rico Tropics at The Bugaboo Lodge. The result was a win for the Caribou, 6-2. Bugaboo Creek now has a 3-game win streak.

Bugaboo Creek right fielder Tim Benton contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 144th hit of the season and put the Caribou ahead, 3-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Benton said after the game.
