The Vancouver Lynx did just enough to secure a victory over the Kittanning Union, 4-3, at The Citizen. Nobody did more than pitcher Pete Hennessey. Héctor Ortega finished the game for Vancouver and earned his 18th save. The win puts Vancouver at 46-75.

Brent Gifford, the 5th overall pick in the 2025 draft, helped out the Vancouver cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder was 2-5 with a double.

"Nice win for us," said Hennessey. "Now we'll go after the next one."
