Cooperstown second baseman Roberto Sánchez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Sánchez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, even as Austin beat the Camels, 6-4. Charles Parsons locked down his 38th save. Austin now has a 3-game win streak.

Austin took a 6-3 lead on Wally Adames's 12th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Cooperstown pitcher Vincente Maldonado in the bottom of the eighth.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Adames said.
