Brooklyn got an elite performance from starting pitcher Jason Cummings in taking a 2-1 decision over the Stratford Cosmos. Brooklyn has now won 3 in a row.
Brooklyn won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Rick Cederberg on the mound for Stratford, first baseman Tsunesaburo Kamuta hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Bats fans to their feet.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Kamuta.
