Spiders Stumble, Lose to BigStars
The Austin BigStars topped the Cleveland Spiders, 8-1, with left fielder Wilson Hernández playing a big role. Hernández was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the BigStars in the win. The win elevated the BigStars to 68-49.

With Austin leading 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Hernández came up to bat against Cleveland pitcher Will Hodges. Hernández hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 16th home run of the season put the BigStars on top, 8-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Austin manager Chipper Jones.
