Spiders Get One-Run Win at Austin
The Spiders grabbed a win, 4-3, at Googleplex, overcoming a fine effort from Austin pitcher Rick Meagher. Meagher went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Vicente Maldonado notched his 17th save in 18 chances. Cleveland is now 55-61, Austin 67-49.

Cleveland used a clutch hit from Dong-kyoon Pae to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Spiders ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Pae, "one at-bat at a time."
