Oklahoma City shortstop Carlos Correa contributed to his team's 10-8 win over the Death Valley Buzzards. Correa, who is tied for 8th in the AL in total bases with 211, went 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cyclones. Amedeo Scotti closed it out for his 23rd save. Oklahoma City is now 50-61, while Death Valley is 51-60.

Christian Yelich, who finished 3rd in the AL in extra base hits with 88 in 2023, came through for Oklahoma City with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Correa said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
