Union Use Late-Game Magic to Beat BigStars, 6-3
The Kittanning Union topped the Austin BigStars, 6-3, in Nied League action at The Citizen. The standout performance belonged to Kittanning pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Sergio Gonzáles. Rod Brace closed the door for Kittanning, picking up his 17th save of the year. With the win, Kittanning raised its record to 59-52.

Kittanning took a 5-3 lead on Luis Arraez's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Arraez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Austin pitcher Masaki Ogawa visibly frustrated.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Arraez.
