Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Al Hammond, the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Sausalito Meatballs, 5-4. Hammond was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Goldeyes. The winner was Winnipeg reliever Eric Davis, now 7-4. The loser was Esteban Chávez.
