The home crowd had a good time watching the Death Valley Buzzards and Oklahoma City Cyclones get after it.

The 16-5 Oklahoma City win over Death Valley was due in large part to Gonzalo Rodríguez. The Cyclones center fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Cyclones move to 49-61 with the win, while the Buzzards drop to 51-59.

With Oklahoma City leading 8-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Rodríguez came up to bat against Death Valley pitcher Jonah McIntyre. Rodríguez hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Cyclones on top, 11-1.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Rodríguez. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
