The Oklahoma City Cyclones topped the Death Valley Buzzards by the score of 9-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Austin Riley. Riley was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Cyclones on the day. Reliever Angus Gilder picked up the win. His record improves to 5-8. Iván Soto took the loss. Today's win puts Oklahoma City at 48-60, while Death Valley falls to 50-58.

With Oklahoma City leading 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Riley hit a slider from Iván Soto for a 3-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 5-1.

In postgame comments to the Oklahoma City Bulletin, Riley said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
