McCleary center fielder Tony García had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. García went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as Winnipeg beat the Sasquatch, 11-5. Winnipeg is 7th in the Anderson League Sabathia Division with a record of 43-60.

Winnipeg used a well-timed hit by Dale Stevenson to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Goldeyes ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Stevenson, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
