Austin center fielder Jesús Rodríguez helped his team beat the Omaha Bandits, 10-3. Rodríguez, who is tied for 6th in the NL with a .539 slugging percentage, went 3 for 5 for the BigStars. Juan Guerrero got the win, improving to 6-4. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Miguel Moreno closed it out for his 1st save.

Austin took a 8-3 lead on Rodríguez's 22nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Miguel Rodríguez in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Austin to the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Rodríguez told the Austin Citizen.
