Late Rally by Whalers Seals 4th Straight Win
Trea Turner led Hartford to a win over St. Paul. The final score was 12-4. Turner collected 3 RBI, while going 4 for 6 at the plate. The second baseman also scored 2 times. Hartford reliever Dan McCourt picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ted Rainey took the loss. St. Paul is now 3-6.

Hartford used the timely hitting of Eric Black to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Whalers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice win for us," said Black. "Now we'll go after the next one."
