Enforcers Paste Lakers, 13-1
|
The South Side Enforcers had no problem beating the Echo Park Lakers, 13-1, at The Enforcer Grounds. Aaron Wilson led the way. He slugged 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 6 for South Side. The first-place Enforcers have won 4 straight games.
With South Side leading 6-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Wilson came up to bat against Echo Park pitcher Júlio Guerrero. Wilson hit a changeup to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Enforcers on top, 10-1.
"We did a lot of things right," said Wilson.
