The Austin BigStars got a strong performance from pitcher Sergio Guerrero, who stymied the Stratford offense en route to a win, 4-2, at The Lockar Room. Charles Parsons closed the game out for Austin, earning his 5th save. The loss has the Cosmos at 6-3.

Austin used the timely hitting of Wilson Hernández to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the BigStars ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Hernández.
