St. Paul played host to Death Valley at CHS Field.

The timely hitting of Jason Graves helped the St. Paul Saints down the Death Valley Buzzards, 10-8. Graves was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Saints. Alex Clark picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Bartolo Rodríguez was tagged with the loss.

Graves had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-1 fastball from Bartolo Rodríguez, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Saints a 7-6 lead. It was the 21st double of the year for Graves.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Graves, "one at-bat at a time."

The Saints now have a record of 24-57.
