Tropics Come Back Late to Top Caribou, 7-6
The Puerto Rico Tropics topped the Bugaboo Creek Caribou by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder José Rivero. Rivero was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Tropics on the day. Miles Dijk earned save number 23 this season. With the victory, the Tropics record now stands at 42-33.

Rivero had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 changeup from Jinrich Batkoka, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Tropics a 6-3 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Rivero.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Rivero.
