Buck$ Connolly Claims 200th Victory
Border City's George Connolly took the hill at The Citizen today in search of his 200th career win. The 35-year-old ace found it against the Kittanning Union.

After the historic victory, his manager told reporters, "I saw a tremendous sigh of relief when this thing was over. He was just looking to hug everyone in sight."

He worked 2.2 innings with no strikeouts and no walks in the 4-1 victory, checking Kittanning on 1 hit.

"It a big milestone in my career," admitted Connolly. "When you get close to it, you worry about it a lot. It's done now... and I can relax and enjoy it."

Connolly's career record shows a 200-105 record with 1 save and an ERA of 4.11. He has fanned 2085 batters in 2755.1 innings and held opposing hitters to a .269 average.
