The Cleveland Spiders picked up a win at Roberto Clemente Park, knocking off the Puerto Rico Tropics, 3-2. Starting pitcher Eduard Fotachi played a key role in the triumph. The 4th-place Spiders have won 4 straight games.

Cleveland relied on the bat of James Carson to get the win. The left fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Spiders ahead, 2-0. For the game, Carson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Fotachi said.
