Red Birds Suffer 11-6 Loss to Buzzards
A 3-RBI performance from Jeremy Townsend, who finished 4th in the AL in RBI with 119 in 2028, helped the Death Valley Buzzards beat the Toronto Red Birds, 11-6. Death Valley raised its record to 43-28 with the win.

Manuel Pérez, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2026 draft, aided the Death Valley cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the left fielder was 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Pérez.
